Hey guys. If you ever feel like somebody is making negative assumptions about you, based on people you’re related to or a group you’re associated with, then I have an idiom for you!

“Liam, your sister is so lazy, I wouldn’t be surprised if you were to.”
“Don’t tar me with the same brush, I’m not lazy!”

“Football supporters all get tarred with the same brush when there's trouble.”

This is a particularly useful phrase for our topic this week (Stereotypes). We can use it whenever we feel someone is being unfairly judged, based on a group they belong to(including nationality), or a person they know.
